RATES & REGISTRATIONS
The conference will be an in-person event, the first CIRED main conference and exhibition in person since 2019 in Madrid!
Registration for the conference entitles participants to
- attend all the conference sessions (oral presentations, Keynote speeches, round tables, RIF sessions)
- attend the poster sessions and CIRED’s uniquely famous poster tours
- attend the opening forum on 12 June
- enter the exhibition
- access the CIRED 2023 app
- receive the delegate package handed out upon registration
- participate in the welcome reception on Monday 12 June (1 person)
- access the proceedings (full papers) online in advance of the conference
- access the special reports before the conference
- access the conference presentations of the event (after the event)
- access morning and afternoon coffee breaks
- get a pass for public transportation in Rome for the duration of the conference
Lunches are not included in the registration fee. However, lunch counters will be open in the exhibition area. Participants can enjoy a quick and light lunch in exchange for a small fee.
The gala dinner organized on 14 June is on extra cost.
Thanks to our sponsor E-Distribuzione, we can propose the tickets at a reduced fee of 100 euros per seat (transportation included). They can be purchased during the registration process.
Tutorials on specific topics will be organized on 12 June morning (before the beginning of the conference). They are on extra cost at 265 euros (for one tutorial max.). Lunch for 12 June is included in this fee. Registration can be made during the conference registration process.
Technical visits will be organized on Friday 16 June (after the conference) and are on extra cost (70 euros per person). The seats are limited and tickets must be booked during the registration process. Transportation will be provided.
Each participant (including authors) will have to pay a registration fee to take part in the conference.

*Early and late rates : To be granted the early rate, registration and payment must be received on or before 24 April 2023. After this date, the late rate is applicable. Late rates must be received by 2 June 2023, after this date an extra charge of 80 € per registration will be applied. In any case, the payment must reach us before the event. Purchase orders are not considered as confirmed payments.
**Academic rate : a proof of academic status is requested (e.g. copy of student/university card) during the registration process. To be eligible to this rate, you must work at full-time for a university.
***Onsite rate: rates are raised by 80€ after 2 June.
Authors of accepted papers must register and pay the registration fee by 1 May to confirm the presentation of their paper. The participation and registration of the main author or one of the co-authors in the conference is mandatory to present and publish the paper (maximum one paper presented by registered author). Every accepted and presented paper will published on the IET digital library.
They will be Scopus indexed and available on IEEE Xplore.

Confirmation and VISA Invitation letters
Confirmation letters for authors of accepted contributions are downloadable through the submission/registration website, on your overview page. Please note that confirmation letters are available for authors of accepted abstracts only.
VISA Invitation letters are also downloadable through the submission/registration website, on your overview page. Please note that VISA invitation letters are only available to registered participants in order of payment. Each participant has to check if he/she needs a visa to enter Italy and to start the mandatory process right in time.
We offer you the possibility to pay online (credit cards, debit cards, online systems) through a secured website or by bank transfer. We encourage online payments as they are immediate. In contrast, bank transfers might take long internal procedures to be processed, it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure the payment arrives in accordance with the deadlines. Purchase orders are not considered as payments.
After completion of the registration form, an automatic invoice is sent to the specified email address (invoicing details, VAT and address can be introduced in the form).

CANCELLATION – REPLACEMENT – REFUND
In the event of cancellation and provided that written notice is received by 12 May 2023 at the latest, a refund of 80 % of the conference registration fee will be made, except for PhD participation which is non-refundable. The report of the registration fee for another person will be accepted at any time before the conference provided that the secretariat is notified in advance. After 12 May 2023, no refund will be provided.
Tickets for the gala dinner and technical visits are non-refundable.
